This inadvertent drink coaster /fetch game became a daily ritual of great fun and exercise. However, even 5 lb Willie could tear them apart with ease. So, I thought, maybe I can design a similar version with safer, more durable and natural materials, and.... Voila! Eco-Fetcher was born. Not only did they play daily with it, it proved to be durable with the most “super-chewer” testers from 3lbs to 110lbs!! The requests from pet owners for more safe, quality made, truly NATURAL toys for their dogs and cats was overwhelming. So within 3 months Eco-Tugger, Eco-Mouser, Eco-Pouncer and Eco-Pouncer Mini became “part of the family.”
I now know that starting HONEST PET PRODUCTS had become the answer to that life-changing question: How do I make a difference?
HONEST PET PRODUCTS was born out of three basic, unrelenting, and uncompromising principles behind everything we do:

Our products, for example, are even more natural than other “eco-friendly” products because they are not simply repackaged recycled plastics and synthetics called “eco-friendly”!
To be TRUE TO OUR PLANET means that our materials are used in their most truly NATURAL form to promote sustainability and carbon footprint reduction. We simply use the quality gifts that nature has to offer to heal the planet and provide us all safer lives.
To be TRUE TO OUR PEOPLE means we economically support and emotionally encourage hardworking people with cognitive and developmental disabilities who make our truly NATURAL hemp and wool toys in Green Bay, WI and Newfoundland Canada exclusively for HONEST PET PRODUCTS. Our 100% truly NATURAL wool cat toys are handmade in Mongolia by women of impoverished, nomadic herding families living without many basic needs. Through the Snow Leopard Trust’s Fair Trade cooperative, these families earn a living with their traditional wool-working skills. In exchange, herders are protecting the endangered snow leopards that share their habits.
In fact, our pledge to be TRUE TO OUR PEOPLE has been our most important commitment, ongoing inspiration and deepest reward– both the giver and the gift behind HONEST PET PRODUCTS. It has led to the understanding of the durability of our products in more than one sense: Although the toys we offer your pets are more durable than you are likely to find anywhere else on the market, they also contribute to durable lives for the men and women who create them.
The first year following the birth of this company and the development of the dream behind it has been an exciting and rewarding adventure. While we created our first line of toys out of truly NATURAL hemp and wool, we have many natural, durable toys and accessories in development. This is just the beginning.
